QiblaFinder is designed to know as little about you as possible. This page explains exactly what happens with your data. In short, nothing leaves your device.
Location data
When you tap âFind Qibla Directionâ, your browser asks for permission to share your position. If you allow it, the coordinates are used inside this web page only, to compute the Qibla bearing and distance. They are never transmitted to our servers (there are none), never stored, never logged, and never shared with third parties.
What we collect
- No accounts, no names, no email addresses.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies.
- No server logs of your visits or your location.
On-device storage
The site may use your browser's cache (via a service worker) so the page keeps working offline after the first visit. This storage lives on your device and can be cleared anytime in your browser settings.
